The Manhood Project (TMP) is a social-emotional learning (or SEL) development program. Our mission is to maximize the positive qualities of under-served youth, while minimizing their temptations to engage in at-risk behaviors.  Using our four-part intervention strategy (Exposure, Education, Engagement and Encouragement), TMP helps to build morally strong, capable and confident young men throughout multiple communities. We do this by focusing on the 5 core SEL Competencies- Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Responsible Decision Making, Social Awareness and Relationship Skills. Learn more about our program and how to get involved below.

The Manhood Project College Experience 2019 was a huge success! Thank you sponsors!

Each year, The Manhood Project partners with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated at a college or university to give participants a life changing experience as a college student. On April 13th, TMP in partnership with Theta Gamma Chapter, took nearly 100 young men and volunteers to visit Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti Michigan. Students participated in a guided tour of the campus, engaged with current students and graduates, learn about multiple organizations, witnessed a mini Step Show and attended the football spring game.
